Luonnonvarakeskus LUKE ja Lapin yliopiston Arktinen keskus järjestävät Kasvitieteen päivät Rovaniemellä.

Tietoa tapahtumasta:

The aim of the congress is to assemble students and researchers from all areas of plant biology in order to increase collaboration and networking among researchers and to give an outlook on the current status of plant biology research in Finland.

The program includes invited speakers, a number of selected talks (12 + 3 min) and a poster session. The official language of the symposium is English.

We will send more detailed information about the new dates later during this spring. Abstract submission remains open until 17th April (see details below).

Abstract submission:

Abstracts to propose an oral presentation or a poster to be presented as a part of one of the six sessions:

Session 1: Arctic and plant life
Session 2: Plant-soil microbe interactions
Session 3: Practical applications of plants: from clothes to health
Session 4: Biodiversity
Session 5: New methods: monitoring from cell level to remote sensing
Session 6: Plant stress and function

Proposals should be sent to Dr. Francoise Martz (francoise.martz@luke.fi) latest by 17th April. Notice however that in the selection process we might change the session in which the presentations and posters are presented depending on the number of the abstracts and their actual content (posters are on display during the whole congress but divided to different sections according to their theme).

Abstracts should follow the format of the Word template (that can be found here). Please name the abstract using the session number and the name of the presenting author (e.g. Session1_RautioP).
