Work in Holiday Resort

RESCuE research project on the Patterns of Resilience during Socioeconomic Crisis among Households in Europe, had its 6th consortium meeting, focusing on spatial dimension, in Saariselkä tourist resort in Inari municipality, for the first time on the Northern side of the Arctic Circle.    

Visiting Researcher in the Arctic - Andrian Vlakhov

Andrian Vlakhov is a PhD Candidate and Junior Research Fellow at the European University at St. Petersburg; he is now a visiting researcher in the NPE research group of the Arctic Centre. His research focuses on the social dimension of the extractive industries in the Arctic, urban development in the High North, and Russian–Nordic relations.
