Anni holds a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and is an associate professor of environmental and resource economics at Aalto University. Her research interests include the impact of risks and uncertainties on the decision-making of citizens and societies regarding environmental, energy, and climate policies. Her work includes valuing public goods, examining policy instruments such as taxes, subsidies, standards, and regulations, and analyzing the distribution of income in cost-benefit and welfare analyses. She has extensive experience in international research collaboration, management, and evaluation of economic and multidisciplinary research.
