Focus of Research: Population ecology, Causes of grouse population fluctuations, Sustainable harvesting of grouse populations, Parasite-vector-host interaction (blood parasites, black flies, grouse), Habitat fragmentation and population genetics of grouse, Epidemiology of viruses in birds.
