IR Conference ”The Worlds of Violence” in Sicily

In September 2015, Giardini-Naxos, Sicily was the venue for the 9th Pan-European Conference on International Relations: "The Worlds of Violence". The two NPE team members and researchers Marjo Lindroth and Heidi Sinevaara-Niskanen visited this event and share their experiences and impressions.   

Transformations - ESEE conference 2015 – Leeds, United Kingdom

The 11th Biannual International Conference of the European Society for Ecological Economics (ESEE) with the theme “transformations” was hosted this summer by the University of Leeds, United Kingdom. Researcher and NPE team member Adrian Braun participated in this event and presented CSR practices in the Barents region, particularly focusing on the metal mining industry in the region.
