On 20 September 2017, Dr Dorothée Cambou presented her research project about the impacts of renewable energy on the rights of indigenous peoples at Arctic Energy Summit. The conference was held in September 18-20, 2017 in Helsinki, Finland. The Summit was a multi-disciplinary event, which gathered several hundred industry officials, scientists, academics, policy makers, energy professionals and community leaders together to collaborate and share leading approaches on Arctic energy issues. During this session, the invited speakers discussed more particularly the topic of environmental impact assessments and the energy sector.
