On 14 March 2017, Dorothee Cambou gave a lecture at Luleå University of Technology as part of the PhD course on transition energy in the North.
This winter School is the first course to be jointly given, since the signing of a "Joint Arctic Agenda" between Luleå University of Technology, University of Tromsø, Finnish University of Lapland in Rovaniemi and Oulu University, in September 2016. The aim is to significantly strengthen research and education in the region. The theme of this first joint PhD student course was, energy transition in the Arctic, which is a topic of increasing interest in the region. In her lecture, Dorothee Cambou focused on the human and social aspects of renewable energy and presented an analysis of the impacts of the development of renewable energy on the rights of indigenous peoples.
