    Research professor Monica Tennberg is elected as a member of the Norwegian Scientific Academy for Polar Research (NVP). Tennberg is a research professor at the Arctic Centre at the University of Lapland. She has studied Arctic politics since early 1990s. Today she focuses in her research to politics of Arctic everyday life, political economy of extreme weather events; practices of neoliberal governance and their local implications; and social dimensions in Arctic politics.

    The new project enhance labour opportunities for women in the Nordic countries
