Research professor Timo Koivurova: Climate may warm up more than 5 degrees

Arctic Centre’s research professor Timo Koivurova was in the Yle Morning TV interview discussing the law of the arctic sea, Finland as an arctic state and the climate change.

On Saturday 28th September in the Finnish Broadcasting Company Yle’s interview, professor Koivurova says that the findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report released to the public on Friday may be optimistic. He refers to the International Energy Agency (IEA) estimate that in 2030 the human race will be even more dependent on fossil fuels than they are today. See the whole news on Yle webnews.
