Academy of Finland organizes a Road Show about researcher’s career and graduate schools

Senior Science Adviser Tiina Petäinen and Science Adviser Eeva Sievi from the Academy of Finland will visit the University of Lapland and the Arctic Centre on next Wednesday, 14th October.

Come to update your knowledge about the possibilities offered by Academy of Finland for PhD students, researchers and graduate schools.  

In the morning, at 10-12 the Academy of Finland offers an open Road Show at the University’s Main Building (Castren Hall) to all interested. The topics of the meeting are:

  • goals and good practices of the graduate schools
  • career and funding opportunities
  • international mobility

We will arrange transportation from Arktikum to the University at about 9:30. Registrations for transportation: paivi.soppela@ulapland.fi or 0400-138 805.

The Academy will visit the Arctic Centre, ARKTIS and Arktikum exhibitions in the afternoon. ARKTIS will organize a joint coffee session at 14-15 at Thule meeting room at the Arctic Centre, where all are invited and where is a good opportunity for discussions. Warmly welcome!
