ARKTIS guest lecture: “Winter ecology in the High Arctic”

Dr. Elisabeth J. Cooper lectures in the Arctic Centre about High Arctic plant ecology, restoration, winter ecology, and trophic interactions, with examples from Svalbard. The ARKTIS guest lecture is on Wednesday 21st of September 2011 at 12.30–14.00 in Thule meeting room, Arktikum-house.

Dr. Cooper is a botanist by her education, and she works in the department of the Arctic and Marine Biology in the University of Tromsø. She visits the Arctic Centre as a part of the Erasmus teacher program, and she will also meet the staff and post graduate students during her visit.
