Blog from Svalbard expedition
14.4.2008 15:15
Scientists from the Arctic Centre started a five-week research expedition to Kinnvika on Svalbard. The expedition is a part of an international Kinnvika research program that was established to study global change in the Arctic region, and the role of the human activities in it.
Kinnvika Net School publishes a weblog about the expedition. The email connection from Svalbard does not work yet, and the blog is written by senior scientist prof. John Moore from the Arctic Centre. The posts are written based on the satellite phone calls by Emilie Beaudon and Venkata Gandikota who are members in his research group.
