The lecture and experimental photo show will be presented for the first time in Rovaniemi, which is the hometown of the artists. The language of the show is Finnish but it can also be followed in English. The photo show opens the Northern Impressions photo exhibition which is on view in the Arktikum Science Centre from 13th May to 14th August 2016.
The impressionistic photographic style is created by Irma Varrio and Ari-Matti Nikula. The new style of photography presents the familiar nature photo subjects with a new twist. The inspiration to make strong, artistic interpretations comes from impressionistic art.
