Arctic Centre's research 2008 - 2009
Arctic Centre's research projects' field work was carried out across the Arctic during the years 2008 - 2009. Multidisciplinary research covered a wide range of topics from who owns the Arctic ocean to local relevance of climate chance. At the research staff there were even 12 nationalities at the same time.
The Arctic Centre’s research focuses on three main themes: global change, sustainable development, and environmental and minority law. Each theme group is lead by a research professor and includes a multidisciplinary team of researchers.
