Registration

Registration to the event ended Wednesday 15.2.23.

Before registering please make sure your accommodation in Rovaniemi for the event is in order. March is a high season for tourism and hotels sell out quickly. We would like to encourage all participants to book your accommodation in Rovaniemi already in advance, even if you don’t know yet whether your abstract will be accepted. You can easily book your accommodation with the option to cancel at no costs. March is high season for ski-holidaymakers and Rovaniemi will be very busy but now there is still a wide choice of hotels, hostels, cottages and Airbnb accommodations available. Registration is non-refundable.  

Cancellation terms: Cancellations must be made by email to Rovaniemi-Lapland Congresses (congress@ulapland.fi). Registration fees are non-refundable. Transferring registration to another participant is free of charge.

Conference fees

  • 120€ for full registration for non-members of the Finnish Anthropological Society
  • 70€ for members of the Finnish Anthropological Society
  • 65€ for students not members of the Finnish Anthropological Society
  • 35€ for student members of the Finnish Anthropological Society

Fees include coffee breaks and lunches, and some extracurricular programmes. Fees apply to all participants.

Payments

The registration fees include the VAT 0%. Please note that all payments must be made in advance and in euros (€). Please choose your payment type on the online registration form. The options are:

  • Online bank transfer (Finnish banks) 
  • Online credit card payment (Visa, MasterCard, EuroCard, Amex) 
  • Invoice. Invoice will be sent to you separately by the conference office. Please remember to specify the invoicing address on the registration form. Invoicing fee 10 € will be added to all invoices. If you prefer to have group invoice, please send the request (including names and invoicing address) to the conference office by email (congress@ulapland.fi).
