The Science Centre is maintaining and developing a functional scientific exhibition called "Arctic in Change" which introduces the Arctic in general and popularises arctic research.
In addition to the main exhibition activities, the Science Centre also
organises happenings for schools, local peoples and tourists, and
particpates to international projects related to exhibition and science
communication.
International networks
The Science Centre is part of the Arctic Centre of the University of
Lapland. It participates actively both in the European Network of
Science Centres and Museums (Ecsite) and in the Nordic Science Centre Association (NSCF). |
